One-Leg Low Point Challenge
Improve low point control and strike quality by reducing body movement and increasing balance awareness. Hitting shots while standing on one leg helps golfers feel where the club reaches the bottom of its arc.
- Standing on the lead leg encourages a forward low point.
- Keep swings controlled — this drill is about contact, not power.
- Maintain chest stability and avoid swaying.
- If balance is difficult, shorten your swing.
- This drill often reveals strike flaws immediately.
- In the swing, of course there is a lateral movement in the backswing into the trail side. However, most amateurs do not shift back early enough and sway too much rather than a turn.
