  • So many factors can lead to a toe shank so it is always worth delving deeper into why it is happening with a PGA professional.
  • If we can summarise a toe shank, the hands are coming too close to the body through impact, therefore the clu. moves with it exposing the toe. I often see this when elbows and wrists aren't used correctly and players break the elbows and pull the club closer towards them through the ball.
