Chipping Step Sequence Challenge (No ball)
Improve chipping sequencing by training the correct order of movement. Backswing, pressure shift, then strike and rotate helping to produce consistent low point and cleaner contact.
- The step helps train proper pressure shift toward the lead side
- Sequence matters more than speed, keep it smooth
- The club should strike the ground after the step, not before
- Think “step then strike”, not both at once
This drill is excellent for players who:
- Flip at impact
- Struggle with fat/thin chips
- Lack forward low point control
