Chipping One-Club Trajectory Matrix
Train the ability to change trajectory and rollout using setup and strike control, without changing clubs. This improves adaptability around the greens.
The biggest determining factor of height is dynamic loft through impact and the relationship between this and angle of attack.
- Lower flight = ball back in stance, square clubface, hands forward, shorter swing and follow-through
- Higher flight = slightly more open clubface, lower/neutral hands, less shaft lean and softer landing intent
- Strike quality matters more than trying to “help” the ball in the air
- Skilled players control trajectory first — distance becomes easier
