Around the World Pressure Ring (4ft)
Circle the cup from short range (four-footers) while a streak builds—routine and start line get tested where misses still sting.
- Pressure builds after 4–5 successful putts.
- Routine consistency matters, follow your process, don't rush.
- Accept nerves, train with them, not against them.
- When facing a 4-footer, visualize a ball marker at that safe distance (e.g., 1 foot) in front of your ball on the correct line. Your goal is simply to roll the ball over that spot, eliminating the fear of the full distance.
- Accept you will miss on occasion and that is OK. Focus on good setup, pick a tin spot (aim small, miss small) and hit each putt with good intentions.
- Thinking of putts as "must makes" only adds pressure. Switch your mental state to, as long as I follow my routine and execute my putt to the best of my ability it will go in. If I don't it might miss and that's OK.
- Remember to breath. Tension is a killer over these putts.
